Hi! I’m Shawna. I am an IFBB Bodybuilding Professional and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. I have a B.S. Degree in Nutrition as well as a B.S. Degree in Community Health Education, with a certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I have had a rewarding path of transforming clients lives since 2006. I love helping others overcome challenges, and looking forward to being the ultimate guide to getting you in shape mentally and physically, allowing you to feel and bring out your best!

Mindset coaching is about building your mindset. You can also think of it as a mindset detox. We will be talking through chosen subjects or issues and expanding upon them to find gaps, habits, or self talk that may not be serving you. We will also explore good seeds to cultivate, and come up with solutions to improve life balance. I may use methods like NLP, reforming words, music therapy, dream sculpting, visualization, mind mapping, or others. You will be given tasks that apply to what we intend to work on each week.

Building your mindset and training your body complement each other and are equally valuable. Without a healthy mind your body will be affected, and the reverse is also true. Your workout takes its own amount of focus and mental energy, so to combine the tools you learn from mindset building will help you not just to adhere to your program, but to train with more purpose, motivation, and self-awareness. 

You can expect to improve mental and emotional clarity, help you manage stress, get better rest, build a healthier relationship with yourself (which also helps your relationship with others), boost confidence, plus overcome set-backs and obstacles. This type of coaching is designed to help you create a healthier outlook on the world outside and within you. It has a positive impact on your life.

I want to help guide you into optimal condition mentally and physically, providing you all the tools you need to feel fully empowered and up to owning each and every day. Mindset building is an ongoing process that allows you to expand beyond your body, opening up new possibilities or version of you. A healthy mind is the foundation of everything! As your coach and confidant, we work together as a team encompassing trust, honesty, confidentiality, and positivity. 

After I assess your goals, current state of mind and health, and go over what you need to strengthen and overcome, we will start with an initial session and then we can take it week to week. Everyone is different, and moves at their own speed. I will map out a plan in the initial stage of your program, starting with the highest priority topic.

Now! The earlier you start, the sooner you will be able to change the things that matter to you. Mindset sessions should be scheduled when you are free of distractions and able to focus on yourself. We can meet in person or over voice or video call. 

Sometimes we fail to realize deep issues that are negatively affecting our inner self. Sometimes it takes someone with a keen intuition or ability to unlock little distractions going on within you. All it takes is some observation, acute listening, and unbiased perception to ask the right questions. We all have something to work on or build upon. Trying something new like Mindset Coaching just to see if it could identify something that may be interfering with your inner being (or with what you want) may just be what you’ve been missing!
